Abstract

Stimulation should be given early and according to the child's development, which includes gross motor skills and fine motor skills, speech and language skills, as well as socialization and independence skills. Optimal child development is influenced by several factors, one of which is stimulation. Stimulation is important in child growth and development. Children who receive targeted, regular stimulation, and are carried out early will develop faster than children who receive less or late stimulation. Lack of stimulation can result in developmental delays in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between stimulation and fine motor development in children aged 48-60 months at Nurul Iman Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in Banjararum Village. This study was conducted in Banjararum Village, Singosari District, the method used in this study was a quantitative method. This type of research uses an analytical observational type with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was all toddlers at Nurul Iman Kindergarten, totaling 28 students, with a sample size of 28. The analysis used was chi-square. The assessment results based on the chi-square test showed a value of 30.029 with a p-value of 0.000. The p-value which is much smaller than the significance level of 0.05 indicates that there is a significant relationship between the level of stimulation given and the development of children's fine motor skills. The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between the level of stimulation given and the development of children's fine motor skills.
